Michelin Starred Aphotic is seeking a motivated individual to join the team as a Captain. Chef Peter Hemsley has developed a network of local fishermen and purveyors to source some of the most sustainable and traceable seafood in the country. With these products, he crafts a nightly 11 course tasting menu that is served in a uniquely sleek and dark dining room. The role of Captain is integral to a smooth service. On a nightly basis, you will be assigned a section of tables to serve alongside a Backserver. You are to act as the leader of your section to ensure that your guests have the best experience possible. Job Requirements - At least 1 full year of service in a fine dining restaurant. -Strong base knowledge of common ingredients and cooking techniques. -Some knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits -Some knowledge of wine preferred.
